Lynxtail got out of the warrior's den and stretched in the early air. She padded over to the apprentices den and stuck her head inside. Memories of when her and her brother were apprentices hit her like a wave. She smiled at the memory and called into the den, "Runningpaw! Wake up its time for me to show you the territory!"

"Wow!" Shine smiled widely as the taxi rolled along the road that entered the town. "It's so beautiful here! Look at the leaves! They're already turning orange and yellow!" He rolled down the taxi window and stuck his head out and looked amazingly at the leaves as they flew by the car.
"they are somethin' aren't they?" The driver commented fondly. Shine nodded "Yes, they really are." The taxi came to a screeching halt in front of the town hall. Shine got out of the taxi with his little belongings and stood there for a second, taking in everything. "Today the old Shine is no more! Today is the start of my new life"
